Unions say that if the poor just had a fair shot they would be able to accomplish the same things the rich do. The rich were only able to achieve because they were born into privilege. At the same time unions fear monger against innovation because it will destroy the narrow definitions they place on their jobs. You cannot be an entrepreneur and a luddite at the same time.
